Terms of Service
Effective 17 August 2026
The short version
TubeQuest turns YouTube into a structured curriculum and holds you to it. These terms are the agreement covering that.
If you subscribe, we tell you before it renews, and cancelling takes no more steps than signing up did.
The curriculum, notes and ratings are generated by AI. They can be wrong, and they are not professional advice.
Reviews and testimonials on TubeQuest are real. We do not write them, buy them, or pay for them.
Who these terms are with
TubeQuest is operated by Bigmoves PTY LTD, Level 1, 241 Adelaide St, Suite #1341, Brisbane City, QLD, Australia, 4000. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that company, and "you" means the person using the service.
By creating an account or using TubeQuest you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
Your account
You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.
Give us accurate information when you sign up, and keep it current. One person, one account — do not share credentials.
What TubeQuest does
You describe a goal. We generate a sequenced curriculum, analyse the videos you capture against that goal and your stated level, and measure what you actually watch so we can hold you accountable to your own plan.
We do not host, own or supply the videos. Everything you watch is served by YouTube under YouTube's own terms, and we never restrict playback — where a plan limits something, it limits progress tracking and analysis, not your ability to watch.
We may change, add or remove features. If a change materially reduces what a paid plan gives you, we will tell you before it takes effect.
Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis, monthly or annually as you choose at checkout. Prices are shown before you pay and include applicable GST.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period so the service does not stop working without warning. We will send you a reminder by email before each renewal, telling you the date it will occur and the amount that will be charged, in time for you to act on it.
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancelling takes no more steps than signing up did — it is a control inside the product, not an email you have to send, a form you have to fill in, or a conversation you have to have with us. We will never require you to contact support to stop paying.
When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it is not renewed after that. Your account and data remain; only the paid features stop.
If we change the price of a plan you are on, we will tell you before it applies, and you will have the chance to cancel before the new price is charged.
Refunds and your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies the guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Those rights apply regardless of anything else written here.
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
Outside those guarantees, we do not generally refund partial subscription periods. If something has gone wrong, write to us — we would rather sort it out than argue about it.
AI-generated content and its limits
Curricula, relevance scores, level ratings, notes, action items and search terms are generated by artificial intelligence. They are produced without human review.
They can be inaccurate, incomplete or simply wrong. Use them as a study aid and your own judgement as the decider. Nothing TubeQuest generates is professional, medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and you should not treat it as such.
You are responsible for what you do with the output, including anything you publish to the marketplace.
Safety
TubeQuest will not generate content concerning self-harm. Every AI generation in the product carries an instruction that no output may instruct, encourage, plan or glamorise self-harm, suicide, self-injury or disordered eating, and this applies without exception to curricula, modules, notes, action items and search terms alike.
Where a stated goal asks for such a thing, the system declines to build the quest rather than producing a softened version of it. You may not use TubeQuest to attempt to generate that content, and doing so is grounds for immediate termination.
TubeQuest is not a crisis service and cannot help in an emergency. If you are in Australia and need support now, Lifeline is available on 13 11 14 and the Suicide Call Back Service on 1300 659 467. If you are elsewhere, contact your local emergency number or crisis line.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use TubeQuest for anything unlawful, or to infringe anyone's rights;
- attempt to generate content prohibited by the safety section above;
- resell, sublicense or redistribute the service or its output as your own product;
- scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract our prompts or models;
- circumvent usage quotas, entitlements or rate limits, including through automation;
- upload or publish content you do not have the right to share;
- interfere with the service's operation or with anyone else's use of it.
Your content and the marketplace
You keep ownership of what you create — your goals, your curricula, your notes and your published quests. We do not claim them.
You give us the licence we need to run the service: to store your content, process it, send it to the AI providers who analyse it, and display it back to you. Where you publish a quest to the marketplace, you additionally grant us and the people who enrol in it the licence needed to display and use that quest.
By publishing, you confirm the curriculum is your own work and that you have the right to share it. We may remove listings that infringe, mislead, or breach these terms.
Reviews and testimonials
Every review and testimonial shown on TubeQuest is genuine. Reviews of marketplace quests are written by people who actually enrolled in them.
We do not write reviews ourselves, we do not buy them, we do not pay or reward anyone for leaving one, and we do not edit their substance. We do not selectively delete negative reviews — the only ones we remove are those that are fake, abusive, or in breach of these terms, and removal on those grounds applies equally regardless of whether the review was positive.
Any testimonial we use in marketing is from a real customer, used with their permission, and quoted without changing what they meant. Where a person received anything in exchange for their comment, we say so alongside it.
Writing or arranging a fake review is a breach of these terms and of the Australian Consumer Law.
YouTube API Services
TubeQuest uses YouTube API Services. By using TubeQuest you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's Privacy Policy applies to information Google collects through those services.
You can revoke TubeQuest's access to your data through the Google security settings page for your account.
Our intellectual property
The TubeQuest software, brand, interface, prompts and underlying systems are ours. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service, and nothing more.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using TubeQuest and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that we reasonably believe is being used unlawfully, or that is putting the service or other users at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first and give you the chance to fix the problem. If we terminate your account without cause, we refund the unused portion of any prepaid period.
Disclaimers and liability
Subject to your consumer guarantees, TubeQuest is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any curriculum it produces will achieve a particular result. Learning outcomes depend on you.
To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
We are not responsible for YouTube's availability, for the content of the videos you watch, or for the acts of the third-party providers listed in our privacy policy, beyond our obligation to choose them with reasonable care.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the courts able to hear appeals from them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top tells you when they last changed, and for material changes we will notify you before they take effect. Continuing to use TubeQuest after that means you accept the updated terms.
